China Panorama is an independent information website for travelers preparing their own trip to China. We don't sell package tours, guided trips, or travel consulting – we are not a tour operator.
What we do differently
Most content about China online goes stale quickly or is AI-generated and only sounds plausible until the first reality check. Instead, we focus on one thing an AI can't deliver: a status page that's manually checked every month – every claim carries a verification date.
Funding
This site is funded through referral links to eSIM providers, rail and flight tickets. If you buy through them we receive a commission — the price for you stays the same. Such links are always marked as advertising.
What we deliberately don't do: we sell no package tours, no guided trips and no travel consulting, and we work with no tour operator. That's why we can write when something doesn't work — even when that stops someone from booking.
